2012, a creative journey!

It's almost 2am and I am waiting to drive back to Dubai :)
Yup, 2012 has started AlhumdulilAllah as my year! An adventurous trip to Nepal, entertaining family around Dubai, two new ventures(ssshhh....will reveal some time later next month), journey around Middle East, making loads of new friends..phew...still not tired :)

I am still quite behind with what i have planned, but that doesnot mean i will give up!
made a few cards a some days back:

Both cards got new owners today at the exhibition :). It was quite a success!..

Will be back with more pics and details, need to drive now.

Your comments are so valuable to me,so just pour out your thoughts!

2012 on the way!

its suprising how 2011 just flew away and now coming sunday will be 2012.
2011 has been quite eventful, learned quite a lot and would have wanted to get more out of it :)
Have a few resolutions coming up for 2012,lets see how they revolve around me. Would want to document 2012 and yes take out time to get creative for my own self :p

Anyways, here's my last creation of 2011,as will be traveling to Nepal for New Years..(couldn't find a colder place :p )
This card is a sample for "Get Frameous " Challenge sponsored by Lil Bee at Abudhabi Papercraft.
Owl stamp is from Hero Arts and has been colored in by Copic. Window frame is the new collection from spellbinders Heartfelt Creations DECORATIVE WINDOW SCENE  Die

The star scene behind the frame is created with Martha Stewart STARRY SKY Punch All Over The Page.
The mat for the frame is created with brown AC cardstock, embossed and crackled with Ranger's Picket fence.
The branch is frm Maya Road chipboards, I just love them!!

Time off ,have to pack as well!, Have the best New Year's eve, and lots of wishes for the 2012 ahead...keep me in your thoughts.
Happy crafting!

"All Smiles"

Who said I don't have smiling photos :p

I created this layout with Lil Bee's April kit,a complete blend of vintage and party themes. The Long Flower stem is from Dusty Attic which I painted with Acrylic paint dabbers(amazing n easy to use!). The chipboard fence is from Maya Road, which I covered with Walnut stain Distress stain and the covered with Crackle accents. The background is misted with Dusty Attic's Brick wall as a mask.

The small bicycle is made by Hero Arts stamp and Ranger Shrink plastic. The sliding journaling tag under the pic is made by Maya Road Ledger Transparencies.

Happy Crafting!,

We tried Ranger's Two Tone emboss It, and it is pretty good!, the new embossing powders made the day with Hero Arts Background stamps.

Looking forward for next week with a new layout, technique and amazing chat :)
